‘History of the Air Corps in Air- Sea Rescue Operations’

Brigadier-General Paul Fry of the Irish Air Corps will give a talk on the “History of the Air Corps in air-sea rescue operations”.
Paul’s early career was as an Air Corps helicopter pilot. He will briefly cover Air Corps history/establishment, context behind purchase and introduction of helicopters, development of Search and Rescue (SAR) through the 40 years that the Air Corps operated in this role, up to present day SAR and SAR support operations.
