Changes to the Cruiser Racing Schedule

Due to lack of committed numbers the next two cruiser races have been postponed Wednesday the 22 Aug 2018 and Sunday the 26 Aug 2018 . We  hope to race instead on September the 8th with an earlier start time of 10:00 rather than the scheduled start at 11:00. This will hopefully give us time for two races back to back. Local club cruiser racing took a break this week so that our cruising sailors could support the HYC ‘Wave Regatta’. Four  MYC boats, Kahera, Shenanigans, Buster and Mon Reve took part in the event over the weekend competing against boats and crews who travelled from the UK and clubs across the Ireland. The club’s mark-laying team was in action last weekend to lay the Donabate and Hoskyns marks in advance of the first Cruiser race of the season next Saturday 21st April. First gun is 1355hrs.
