Our course program covers Cara na Mara for young beginners (see our Section on Cara na Mara), Basic Skills, Improving Skills, Kites & Wires, Advanced Boat Handling and Start Racing. These courses will run throughout the Summer and are intended to progressively develop sailing skills where sailors can participate in other club sailing activities.
Offering a mixture of fun, adventure and learning, the courses place an emphasis on getting out on the water as much as possible and practising all the essential aspects of sailing. The courses have the added advantage of offering a relaxed and enjoyable way for Juniors to make new friends.
The Club has a limited number of boats available for hire during the summer for those who are new to sailing or who don’t yet have a boat. We also have wetsuits & buoyancy aids for those just starting out in sailing.
