MYC and MALAHIDE SPORTS LOTTO
Malahide Yacht Club is joining forces with Malahide Rugby Club, St.Sylvester’s GAA Club, Malahide Lawn Tennis Club and Malahide Cricket Club in a web-based fund-raising initiative called Malahide Sports Lotto.
While hundreds of sports clubs around Ireland already run their ‘LocalLotto’, this collaboration is unique in that this is the first time a group of clubs have come together for this purpose. The Malahide Sports Lotto will be officially launched on Sunday 10th April and the first draw will take place two weeks later (and weekly thereafter).
You can log on to the site via the link on the MYC website – or via the dedicated website www.malahidesportslotto.com – and play online and also nominate the Yacht Club as the beneficiary of your contribution. While you may have memberships of the other clubs, we would ask that you consider MYC as the beneficiary – we are the smallest of the five clubs, after all! 
For just €2, participants can choose their four numbers per line and can pay for months in advance if they wish to avoid doing it weekly. For every €2 you invest, 90 cent goes to MYC, so the Club earns revenue and you stand a chance to win money back!
The Malahide Sports Lotto Fundraising Lotto draws which run on a weekly basis play a huge part in the Clubs fundraising efforts.

To play the Malahide Sports Lotto, any five numbers are selected from 1 to 28. If anybody matches the four numbers selected on the night he/she wins or shares the Jackpot. Match the first 4 numbers drawn and the bonus number to win the Jackpot prize and a Renault Clio. Ä100 is divided amongst Match 3 winners. Tickets cost €2.00 each.
