The first session will take place at 13:00hrs on Saturday 21st of April in Broadmeadows in line with the commencement of the Early Bird Series. After a short briefing, course participants will get practical experience setting up the dinghy racing session for that afternoon as part of the training. We will have a follow up session on Saturday the 28th, for anyone who may not make the 21st!
Alan Johns and Niall Gallagher will facilitate the training for us and while naturally it is by its nature a very practical type of course delivery, a couple weeks of mentoring / settling in, will also be available to make sure you are really happy in the role.
Colm will also be organising an Irish Sailing Accredited Race Officer Course, when we are all settled into the role!
