Wicklow Vase

The Wicklow Vase is our annual event, where craft from both the upper and lower estuary come together to compete for the Wicklow Vase Trophy.  This is a great opportunity for upper estuary boats to race out at sea and to take on the larger cruiser fleet.  We look forward to seeing a large turnout of boats from both ends of the estuary.

To race in the Wicklow Vase Race all Dinghy Sailors MUST PRE-REGISTER online by 18:00 Friday 30th August. In addition to this all helms (Cruisers and Dinghies) must sign in and attend the briefing by the race officer at SJT clubhouse at 11 00 hours on Saturday 31st August in advance of going afloat. This is an important safety requirement for all entrants. We also ask that all Cruiser Skippers wishing to take part also register online below. It’ll only take a minute and will ensure the event runs smoothly on the day.

Saturday is also a chance to try cruiser racing as we have some crew slots available to members.

And if you are not racing but would like to get out on the water we need volunteers to help on the committee boat or rescue.

Sailors Entry -Free of Charge

There will be a family BBQ afterwards in SJT Clubhouse.

Bookings for the BBQ MUST be made through the webside before 6pm on Friday evening.
