L2 Basic Skills (1 Week)

  1. All Courses are open to MYC members and the public.
  2. Sailors will require a wetsuit, buoyancy-aid and appropriate footware for activities
  3. Boats will be provided for activity, however if sailors have access to a boat they are encouraged to use it.
  4. All activities have a Pre-Requisite based on age or sailing ability.
  5. Certificates are awarded based on recognition of skills, not attendance. Sailors should expect at least 10-days of Instructor-lead time. All sailors are encouraged to maintain a logbook.
  6. Sailors engaged in the Junior Summer Programme are welcome to attend Tuesday Evening Fun Sailing (by appointment only), to continue developing their sailing skills.
  7. Sailing is a weather dependant activity. Courses will run with the prevailing conditions and will not be rescheduled due to poor weather.
  8. Refunds will not be facilitated once bookings are made.
  9. MYC has the right to cancel courses based on insufficient interest, and a full refund will be issued.
