Malahide Yacht Club is delighted to welcome the Irish International 420 Association and its fleet for the 2025 Leinster Championship, taking place on the Broadmeadows Estuary over the weekend of Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th October 2025.

The 420 class has long been recognised as one of the most exciting youth double-handed dinghies, producing generations of talented sailors who often go on to compete at national, international, and even Olympic level. With its strong mix of teamwork, tactical racing, and sheer speed on the water, the class continues to attract some of the very best young sailors in the country.

The Broadmeadows Estuary in Malahide provides a fantastic racecourse, offering non – tidal conditions, steady breezes, and plenty of room for competitive racing. The race management team, supported by a fleet of volunteers both ashore and afloat, will ensure a professionally run and highly enjoyable championship for all competitors.

This promises to be a lively weekend both on and off the water, with excellent racing during the day and the warm welcome that Malahide Yacht Club is known for ashore.

Whether you are a sailor, parent, or supporter, we invite you to join us for what is sure to be a fantastic championship and a great celebration of youth sailing.
